What is a DIN Fitting?
A metric DIN fitting is a compression-style fitting with a flareless bite type construction used to connect Metric tubing to fitting thread connections. They’re composed of a body, ferrule, and nut. The ferrule’s cutting edges bite into the outer surface of the tubing, which ensures the necessary holding and sealing power for high operating pressures and extreme vibration.
